oh man! i was too busy hanging out with people i love and eating delicious food to actually remember to post the thanksgiving day entry i started writing. so here it is- better late than never?

today is thanksgiving! birds are chirping, the sun is shining, i'm not at work and life is currently glorious. so glorious in fact, that i've been inspired to take inventory of all the little things that have been the source of much joy today:
sleeping until 9
coffee with husband
husband in general
bacon
back bacon
lady friends
mimosas
bicycle ridin'
when kitties decide to be nice to me for twenty minutes
beets
wu-tang
hot showers
in home manicures
sisters
parents
family in general
pie
pie again (there were two kinds!)
pillow top
